Keto Cream Sauce

A silky, restaurant-quality cream sauce thickened with Crave Xanthan Gum instead of flour — zero carbs, full flavor. Works beautifully over chicken, pasta, vegetables, or as a base for any cream sauce.

Ingredients

  • 2 tbsp unsalted butter
  • 3 garlic cloves, minced
  • 1½ cups heavy cream
  • ½ cup chicken or vegetable broth
  • ¼ tsp Crave Pure Xanthan Gum
  • ½ cup freshly grated Parmesan
  • Salt and white pepper to taste
  • Fresh parsley or chives, to garnish

Instructions

  1. 1Melt butter in a saucepan over medium heat. Add garlic and sauté for 1 minute until fragrant — don't let it brown.
  2. 2Pour in heavy cream and broth. Bring to a gentle simmer.
  3. 3In a small bowl, whisk ¼ tsp Crave Xanthan Gum with 1 tbsp cold water to form a slurry.
  4. 4Whisk the xanthan slurry into the simmering cream mixture. The sauce will thicken within 1–2 minutes.
  5. 5Reduce heat to low. Stir in Parmesan until fully melted and smooth.
  6. 6Season with salt and white pepper. If the sauce is too thick, thin with a splash of broth.
  7. 7Serve immediately over chicken, zucchini noodles, vegetables, or steak.
